This morning’s “Fox & Friends News” announced the Secret Service codename given to Democratic candidate Barack Obama – “Renagade”. As part of the story, they also listed a few others.

• George W Bush – Tumbler
• Bill Clinton – Eagle
• Ronald Reagan – Rawhide

The code names are meant to have some reference to the person. For example, Dan Quayle was “Scorecard”, because he spent so much time on the golf course.

When I was at flight school, the dispatchers tagged me with “Smokeboy” … it’s definitely not like being called “Maverick” or “Ice Man” <hmmm>. In my case, it was “earned” rather than a representative characteristic. I’m not totally enamored with the nickname but sometimes you don’t get to choose ! Later, at work, I was tagged “Sparky”.

So, what would *your* code name be ? What would you *want* it to be ? <grin.> … Perhaps this should be one of those “blogging chains” ?
