Zen tries out for Manchester United

Zen has taken to the new training grounds with glee. Today she managed some structure training, followed by swimming, and washing up. The requisite nap was squeezed in before heading out to the pitch for a pick-up game of ball. It was all Zen all the time. The other players didn’t have a chance …

Introducing Thessle Manfam

For years, I’ve used “spoken” prompts for my cellphone as well as various computer alerts. Most of these have been created using the text-2-speech demo from AT&T.

Today, I entered “Welcome to theSalmonFarm blog.” What I got was something very different. Given I had chosen a British female voice, the results sounded very much like a character you might expect in Harry Potter.

So, without further adu, let me introduce “Thessle Manfam“. Over the next several months, I’ll try to find out more about this character – where he lives; who is parents were; where he went to school; what he does to make a living.
