We probably received between 12-14″ buts it’s very hard to tell because the snow was immediately followed by winds 30 gusting to 45 mph. It’s definitely “brisk” out there !
I am probably in the minority but, to me, that’s perfect winter weather. Especially if the temp hangs around 20-25 F. Brisk, definitely. You and Zen enjoy it. How nice you do not have to commute to work.
The snow is nice but the wind is a big much. As for “commuting”, you need to realize they will never plow anything other than RT 13 and even that will be life threatening until the wind quits and we get a sunny day in the 40′s to melt the 50% left behind by the plow (notice I did not use the plural). Last year, this much snow closed the local schools for 2 weeks!
You know, I have to say that I’m actually incredibly
relieved that some salmon farms are finally taking an initiative
into a more sustainable direction and away from past practices,
such as the ones recently outlined online in the press.
Still, with the increasing population and thus demand, it will take
more than lukewarm measures to ensure a good, stable source of
salmon and other seafood. Well anyway, some food for thought
:]
The clouds in this one as in your beautiful morning one seem to highlight/point to Sir Tree. Pretty cool. In general a really expressive scene.. Thanks (as always) for sharing the beautiful place where you live…
Gorgeous. How much did you get?
Oh sorry. I can see the caption now. A foot. (I was using the phone with its teeny-tiny screen).
