In addition, the audio connector rides in the wind and such while connected to the audio system on the bike. Twice in the last several years that I've had these, the cord has gone bad from the heavy use. In both occasions, Etymotic has replaced the entire cordset for free and returned the phones to me cleaned, with new green filters and fresh ear buds. Class outfit, those folks. I am also not a paid endorser.
