United Breaks Guitars | Dave Carroll Music.com

In the spring of 2008, [the music group] Sons of Maxwell were traveling to Nebraska for a one-week tour and my Taylor guitar was witnessed being thrown by United Airlines baggage handlers in Chicago. I discovered later that the $3500 guitar was severely damaged. They didn’t deny the experience occurred … So I promised the last person to finally say “no” to compensation (Ms. Irlweg) that I would write and produce three songs about my experience with United Airlines and make videos …Video created by Curve Productions Inc. of Halifax, NS

Bless you Dave Carroll, bless you. For allowing all of us who have been wronged by troglodyte baggage handlers and ridiculously uninvolved, uncaring and uninformed airline employees. For putting in to words the feelings of so many in such an entertaining way. For being creative enough and hitting the right nerve at the right moment so that your videos have gone viral and are appearing on major national and international broadcast and cable news programs. To the whole band for just being a really nice bunch of eastern Canadian boys, eh.

We who have been disrespected and disposed of by “Big Air Travel” salute you and raise a Molson in your direction!

… and of course, thanks to Glen for adding this one to the blog.
