A flush beats four queens – right ?

TIMG_4149-small affy came to visit Zen for a few days and with the warm weather, they stayed inside and hunted for things to pass the time.  Eventually, their usual games of chase, tug-of-war, and keep-away got old so they decided to break out the cards and play poker. The used "table stakes" which for these two meant treats. Neither seemed to have won big as they both had a healthy appetite when dinner came around.

I want some of this action. What’s the buy in? I have a 2 lb bag of dehydrated cheese snacks. Is that enough?

Cordy – do you know how to play poker ? If not, then dehydrated cheese snacks will definitely get you a buy it at our table :-)

Zen- I’ve been mulling over your last comment for a while now. While it sounded real southern friendly like at first, I do believe you mean to acquire all my cheese snacks!!!!

I have been watching poker on the TV and I do believe I am about ready to put my snacks on the table – after I eat a few.

cordy – it’s always wise to keep your cards close and not put all our treats on the table. I know a few players who like to bury some of things in the yard. Me … well, I just eat them. It makes for short poker games.

I say let’s just play strip poker. It’s too hot wear a collar anyway.

Maybe we should just skip the card game completely and sip icy beef broth by the pool.
