Paint Booth – a hole becomes a wall becomes a door

The workshop has a permanent paint booth. This is a great improvement over the temporary plastic bubble of my old shop. The challenge this time around was where to put it given how often (or infrequent) it will get used. I ended up created a usable space for "regular work" that could be temporarily grow to accommodate large projects.

Here is a short clip describing the paint booth size and showing the door / wall configuration. (It is not yet fully enclosed and the lighting has not yet been installed so there is a bit more work before it is operational.)

The paint booth has a 24" explosion proof exhaust fan on the outside wall and will have the inlet built into the passage door. Both ends of the airflow are designed to accept standard furnace filters.
