Sequestered in the shop

slippers-before-after I’ve been working full time on the farmhouse project for [most of] the last 10 days. For part of that, I’ve had family visit to hold down the fort, give Zen some much needed distractions, and keep me fed. One by-product of this help is a pair of replacement felted slippers. These things are great and my current pair are just over two years old and suffered their first signs of age recently. So, I put in my request for a new pair for next winter.

For the uninitiated, felted slippers are knit from wool yarn and start live "oversized" but then get carefully shrunk to become dense, warm, foot care.

In the picture, you can see the "before and after" with new the unwashed / unshrunk blue slippers next to my current green slippers.
