I love my Sonos. I’ve said this in at least three posts so I won’t go there. I do have one issue – the controller. The Sonos Controller is very functional. I did not say it was elegant. I did not say it was modern. I did not say it was small or light. It’s a brick.

The Sonos has a very elegant controller app for the iTouch. It’s fun. It’s modern. It’s tight and the iTouch is a nice device. But I do not have an iTouch.

I have a Blackberry Bold.

So I set about to make my situation work. The plan was to use SonosWeb. That bit worked. However, it turns out the Blackberry Bold has some strange issues with the JavaScript and the AJAX code. Before you tell me to turn off the script timeout setting on the Blackberry, I did. And before you suggest changing the browser options, I did that too. I even tried a different browser identification. What I got was the page and all the graphics but then the JavaScript and AJAX code took hold and never finished its bit.
