GIMP and a Tablet PC

I bought a Toshiba M200 Tablet PC off of eBay. The price was right and the machine - thus far- is working nicely. It only had 512MB so I added 1 GB RAM. I have only one real purpose of this newest acquisition - graphics. I’ve installed GIMP and will  be attempting to  use it for drawing.

I should point out I am definitely not an artist. It will bve a lot of ugly progress. Fortunately, I am patient and have not fear of ridicule from viewers. To give you an idea of just how bad my drawing is to start, this picture is an example <grin> or <grimness>

The keyboard of the Toshiba M200 is a bit weird. I can get use to that. The next challenge is to get “pressure sensitivity” working. I hope to figure that bit out soon.

I look at it like an investment in my creativity … or a demostration of my ineptitude. … we shall see !
