A year ago, nearly exactly, I took a road trip to Chicago to pick up a project. It would be my first real adventure working with metal rather than wood. Well, that turned out to be a lot of fun and a reasonable success. So, I’ve decided to do another project using steel. This one is a bit bigger but I hope it will be just as much fun and just as rewarding …

.. it will also be just a tiny bit bigger ! Look close. Those are French doors between the two seating benches on the left and four tall chairs in the middle.

Odds are good this blog will yet again take a tangent for a few months. This time around it will be commercial construction of a steel building … plus the inevitable trials of building codes, permits, and heavy equipment. I’ll strive to rememger to blog about Zen and software and what-ever else pops into focus.
