I’ve been watching the migratory birds along the Chesapeake Bay off an on over the past couple of months. And in that time I’ve also tried to photograph them on multiple occasions. I seldom was happy with the results. Today was different …

   Bravo! Beautiful shots! I especially love the top one, the way their wing tips curl up on the end - pushing the air down. Thanks for sharing these.

   I’m so thankful I finally have some material to work with. The originals are 12MP images. The top one or a part of it will likely be on my “spring mailer” so don’t be disappointed to see it again

   The one shot I did not get was the “water skiing landing”. I find it interesting that Geese have a different means of landing on water when compared to on land.
