Could email be my new blogging client ?
I’ve written a few times about my transition to Ubuntu Linux for both my work and personal computers. In that time, I have also commented (as have others) on the lack of a good blogging client. For those that agree with me, it it interesting that many of us have gravitated to Microsoft’s “Windows Live Writer”. I decided to try once more to find a non Windows solution for blogging.
The challenge with email blogging has always been my use of pictures, screen clips, and images to complement my posts and in some cases be the purpose of my post. I may have found a solution - Postie.

This page is dedicated to the Postie (a WordPress Plugin). It was originally developed by John Blade. At some point he sort of stopped updating the code. I needed some features so I just hacked them in. I’ve been taking feedback ever since to help improve the program.
This pretty much was what I had been trying off and on for a while but never to enough success to be a viable solution.
Assuming this post contains both the image I want (displayed as I want) *and* link as I want, I will have a workable solution. Wish me luck !
