I managed to tire Zen out today - a rare success on my part. The resulting picture was so funny, I had to send it to my friends, Jen & Doug at Paws 4 Play near Newburyport, MA- where Zen use to get most of her exercise …

I told Jen that is was Zen’s way of saying she was home-sick for her dog daycare pack at Paws 4 Play but I’m guessing it was the agility course workout Zen got that made her flake out like a rag doll.

Yes, I finally have most of Zen’s agility equipment set up. It’s humorous, at least to my dog training friends, that with all the packing limitations I had moving here and all the choices I had to make for what just would not fit in the truck or on the trailer, pretty much Zen’s entire agility set made the trek south. the one “casualty” was her tire jump but that has been recreated along with new standard jumps (now made from 1-1/2″ PVC with the specialty 4-way and 5-way T’s I bought from East Coast Plastics).

It is striking how much more focused Zen is at 3yrs than she was a 2yrs. I would not wish her sports injury on anyone but she seems to have come out as good as gold !
