Morning, before the world wakes up …
Published by Glen on Sunday 12-Aug-2007
There are those rare times, when you feel you are the only one on earth. It is quiet. You don’t hear cars or trucks rushing past. No machinery whizzing, whining, clanging and banging. There are no conversations, no interruptions. There is nature. Not good and evil, just nature - doing what nature does. Warming under the new sunrise - water becomes vapor; birds hunt for food; small creatures avoid being food.
But the “observer effect” rears its ugly head … our presence disturbs a heron, the silt crabs scurry to their holes, a rabbit darts into the thicket. All too quickly, the world has awakened. The memory is captured. The moment has escaped.

Sounds nice there, Glen. Are you sure it’s not Zen causing the observer effect for those birds and crabs?
