Nor’easter Hits New England

In 2006, the North East corner of the United States saw rain, rain, and more rain. More than 28 inches of rain was recorded in 28 days. This year is not that bad. There are reports of up to 5 inches of rain since last night. Wind is the concern today - with gusts above 60mph! Local flooding is already present in our neighborhood.
The picture on the left is the little brook behind my house and the picture on the right is the cow pasture across the street. (Obviously, the cow has taken shelter in the little red barn.)
Footnote: believe it or not, the 111th Boston Marathon is today !
