Anyone who has experience with large enterprises knows how tedious it is to locate people with the right expertise. Thus, I envision a LinkedIn equivalent which serves less as a tool for recruiters to find candidates, but more as an internal expertise locater, should be an absolute killer app. Here’s more details on the announcement.

The article hits on a key integration topic - “how and when will Web 2.0 services integrate with corporate resources ?” I’m guessing this will be one of the next big challenges to corporate IT. Those who figure it out will truly unleash the intellectual capitol of they’re workforce.
