It’s past time for bed and Zen knows it. My house has automatic thermostats that set back to 55 at night. The only problem is when I stay up past the usual bed time. Not only does it mess up Zen’s sleeping habit a bit, but she gets cold and needs to get creative to stay warm …

Speaking of “cold”, we are in for another day or so a bitter cold. We’ve been spared snow and all that comes with it but we have not broken the freezing mark by more than a degree or two for over a week.
