This past week we finally got a cold spell … really cold. On Wednesday we had a high temp of about 12 !

I have a friend who has three golden retrievers. The youngest really likes it cool. His ears perk up when he hears the AC kick on and you can usually find him lying on the floor vents. Well, my little girl is just the opposite. She can usually be found lying in the sun. This time of year, she is tuned into the sound of the furnace kicking in. And when it does, she makes a bee-line to the nearest register. She’ll crump out right in the flow of the hot air and bask (and bake) !
